How to mark each row
- Use Included only when the quotation names the deliverable and its boundary.
- Mark Optional when a priced or selectable line is visible but not in the base scope.
- Choose Excluded when the supplier expressly removes the work.
- Assign Buyer supplied when ownership is clear and accepted by the buyer.
- Leave Unclear when a brochure or headline price is the only evidence.
- Attach the cited quotation page to every critical row.
- Resolve tooling, guarding, FAT and SAT before treating prices as comparable.
- Check destination rules and final line integration outside the press boundary.
- Record contract wording for warranty start, exclusions and response route.
- Repeat the comparison after any change to parts, variants or interfaces.
- Price follows scope.
- Missing evidence stays open.
- Before award, tie every Included status to a drawing, document register, test protocol, responsibility matrix or quotation clause that an internal reviewer can locate without relying on a sales email.
- Reopen the table if the destination, line interface or acceptance quantity changes after technical review.
- When two quotations use different boundaries for tooling, fixtures, guards, line interfaces, FAT samples, SAT days, documentation, installation and buyer prerequisites, a lower headline price is not yet a lower comparable price because omitted work may return as an option, site task, change order or acceptance dispute.
